Autolektor

Autolektor is an audio system for tourist buses. The server checks the current location of GPS and on the basis of a saved map puts on a lector for modules of media players that are next to the passengers’ seats. A passenger can choose the language (Polish, English, German etc.). The amount of operated languages is limitless. Tourist buses transmit their location to the central service on an ongoing basis. Thanks to this, bus drivers know the location of other tourist buses and the administrator knows where every tourist bus is and what is its route. Thanks to using GPS devices with an inertial navigation system the location of a tourist bus is always read correctly even among high buildings or in tunnels. One of the major advantages of Autolektor is that modules of multimedia players communicate wirelessly requiring only 24V power. As a result, they are resistant to the weather conditions (some tourist buses are cabriolets).
